Update:

The fall of 2007 and 2008 found me taking a break from showing myself for the first time in years.
It was a bittersweet time as I love to show and feel a need to show to keep the business going but I feel it was the smart move to make in order to focus
entirely on “Herf’s” training and getting him solid in his FEI work.

In August of 2007 I was fortunate enough to begin working with Carol Lavell in regular clinics in Binghamton, NY and E. Haddam, CT.I have
worked with some incredible people over the years but always found it difficult to get regular help due to distance. Thanks to Carol and her student
of 30years,Grand Prix rider Tracy Durham, I am now able to get that regular help and fix many important details as well as be sure the FEI work is
correct and up to standard. Carol’s experience as an “R” judge as well as her European training are beyond compare. Tracy teaches regular clinics at
Evening Shade and her eyes will be invaluable in the warm –up arena this year .As for Herf, he is now a strapping 9 year old schooling I-1 and playing
with some I-2 and Grand Prix work on the “amazing” days, showing exceptional talent for piaffe and passage.
